Terry,
I have a 2003 Mazda Protege that still has its original battery, which is now over 4 years old. A few months ago, I started noticing signs that the battery was getting weak, such as slowed cranking when starting and dimming headlights and slowing of the ventilation fan while idling at stop lights. I tested the electrolyte in all 6 cells with a hydrometer and found that 3 of the cells had less than a full charge.
After reading about how most lead acid batteries fail due to sulfation, long before plate corrosion becomes a factor, I decided to do some online research to see if there was a practical way to reverse it. That is when I discovered your website, thermoilbatteries.com, and read about your Battery De-Sulfater product. I decided to give it a try and am happy to report that I'm glad I did.
Less than two weeks after adding one ounce of Battery De-Sulfater to each cell, I retested the electrolyte and discovered that all 6 cells were fully charged! Also, the car starts faster and I no longer notice a dimming of the headlights or slowing of the ventilation fan when stopped at a light. You have a great product and I will recommend it to all my friends.
Sincerely,
Don Tosaw
